How Do I Use "Touch Exit" in Communicator 5 Without Getting Stuck in the C5 Quick Menu?

Touch Exit is a method often used when the user needs more time to release from their selection. Thus, adjustments are going to be made to Communicator 5 to allow them (in this example 1.0 second, but that can be adjusted as needed) to have more time to rest on a selection than normal and then the selection is going to be activated when it is released or exited. It is important that these steps are done in this order - it is especially important to not overlook the steps to Disable Right-Click in C5.

  1. From the C5 Quick Menu, select Advanced Settings.
  2. Select Disable Right-Click.
  3. Select Disable right-click.
  4. Select the white X to close this window.
  5. Select Input Method.
  6. Select Touch/Mouse (in necessary).
  7. Select Touch/Mouse Settings.
  8. Adjust Minimum time a button must be pressed to 1.0 seconds.
  9. Select OK.
  10. Select OK.
  11. Select the white X to close Advance Settings.
