How do I update TD Snap for iPadOS?

TD Snap will typically update on its own on your iPad, but sometimes you may need to update it manually.  If you need to update TD Snap manually, you likely fall within one of three categories.  One of the following bullet points should pertain to you.  

  • If you’ve previously purchased TD Snap as a standalone app – please update by clicking on your profile icon within the App Store, scrolling down to TD Snap and click “Update.” Depending on your location, it may take 24-48 hours for the update to populate in Apple’s App Store.   • If you have TD Snap on an iPad that is connected as part of a school district or organization – the updates will need to be first processed through your organization’s MDM.  For this you may need to contact your school's IT department.
  • If you have purchased a Tobii Dynavox device – you can update to the latest version when TD Snap prompts you to update in “Edit” view or through the Self Service app on the home screen of your Tobii Dynavox device.
