Where do I find an API Key for ElevenLabs?

Overview

An API key is required to use ElevenLabs voice integration with TD Snap or TD Talk. The API key allows you to sign in and access the voices associated with your ElevenLabs account.

You need an active ElevenLabs subscription with tokens available on the account.

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

• Make sure you have an active ElevenLabs subscription.
• Confirm that tokens are available on your ElevenLabs account.
• Make sure you can sign in to your ElevenLabs account.

Create an ElevenLabs API Key

1. Go to the ElevenLabs website.
2. Sign in with your ElevenLabs account.
3. Locate the navigation menu on the left side of the website.
4. Near the bottom of the navigation menu, select Developers.

5. On the Developers page, select Create an API Key.
6. On the next page, select Create Key.

7. In the panel that appears, configure the following permissions:
   • Enable access to Text to Speech.
   • Set Voices to Read.
   • Set User to Access.
   • Leave all other options at their default settings.

8. Select Create Key to finalize your selections.
9. When your API key appears, select the copy button to copy it to your clipboard.
10. Store the API key in a secure location.
