How do I turn off scanning of the Modify button in Compass?

Access the settings menu. Choose either the settings icon in the upper left corner or the triangle in the right corner depending on the settings of your Compass software.
Select the Access method settings
Select the Blue Settings to the right of the scanning selection method
Select the Pages tab.
Uncheck the option for Scan Modify Button.
