Semesterware

The Semesterware program is designed exclusively as a way for college and university professors training college students in special education, assistive technology, and speech pathology to give their student’s access to Boardmaker as part of their coursework.

Program Rules:

Requestor must be a professor, instructor, etc. at an accredited college or university.
Your account is active for two years
If at any time your program expands, please reach out and we can adjust access
Students must be removed from your Semesterware account upon graduation
There is no limit to your students’ use of Boardmaker to create print and interactive materials, however, please be aware of the following:

- Your students may not store any client information in the system, including photos, names or any documentation/data/PHI

- You may not assign Boardmaker “student” accounts to actual clients; this feature is intended for student simulation only

Professors, please fill out the application below. You will receive a letter explaining what you are getting, along with a guide to get you started. There is no cost for this program. Boardmaker is under no obligation to continue this program and may change or discontinue the offering at any time. Please allow 1-2 weeks for application processing.
