Why is the volume so low on recordings I create using the Speech Case?

The Speech Case includes a hole to allow use of the iPad internal microphone. To achieve the best recording quality, however, you may want to consider either removing the iPad from the case for recording or using an external microphone plugged into the iPad lightning port.
