How to Create and Edit a Macro in Compass.

*Note:  This article applies to version 1.2 or higher*

While in the Page Editor, select the File Icon to expand the available options. Select Macros.

You will now be in the Macro Editor.

To edit a Macro:

1.  Select the macro you want to edit from the list. It will open the Script Editor.

2.  Make your changes to the macro script.
3.  Select the green Done button in the upper right corner when finished.

To create a new Macro:

1.  Select Manage in the upper right corner of the Macro Editor.
2.  On the button bar that opens, select New Macro.
3.  On the Macro Propertiesdialog that opens, enter a name, description, and parameters for the new macro.
4.  Select Save.
5.  The Script Editor will open. Add the desired actions.
6.  Select the green Donebutton at the top right corner of the Script Editor when finished.

To edit the parameters of an existing Macro:

1.  Select Manage in the upper right corner of the Macro Editor.
2.  Select the macro from the list.
3.  On the button bar that opens, select Edit Properties.
4.  On the Macro Propertiesdialog that opens,enter the desired name, description, and parameters.
5.  Select Save.
5.  Select the green Donebutton at the top right corner when finished.
