How should I use the Track status window?

June 10, 2016

Use the Track status window to help you to position the P10 unit accurately.
The Track status window is accessed from the Basic Settings menu or by pressing the [Home] key on a keyboard.

In the upper right corner of the window, there are three small icons:

1. Distance indicator - When selected it lets you know if the device is too close or too far from the user. The P10 is at a proper distance when the yellow triangle at the top of the Track status box is between the two red squares. The Distance Indicator icon looks like a small green diamond located in the top right corner of the Track status title bar. The Distance Indicator is off if the small green diamond icon has a small red X on it.

2. Text bar - lets you know if one or two eyes are present in the Track status window. If both eyes are detected by the P10, the text bar is green and says "Both". If one eye is detected, the text bar is green and says "one eye". If no eyes are detected by the P10 because it is out of range, the text bar is red and says "Not found". The Text bar icon looks like a capital T in the upper right corner of the Track status title bar. If the Text bar is deactivated, a small x appears next to the icon.

3. Sound feedback - gives you a beeping sound to assist you in the positioning of the P10. Slow, continuous beeps means that there are no eyes detected. Quick, continuous beeps means that the eyes are detected but not in range for good eye tracking. No beeps means that the P10 is positioned properly. The Sound feedback icon looks like a speaker in the upper right corner of the Track status title bar. If it is deactivated, a small x appears next to the icon.
