How can I get log files that may be helpful to troubleshoot?

June 26, 2018

There are a number of very helpful log files that are useful for resolving issues with our devices.  For most issues with the I-Series, the most important logs come from the event viewer.

I-Series

Log files helpful in the I-Series can be found in the event viewer, Control Center, and Gaze Interaction Settings.  It may not be possible to obtain all of the log files depending on the issue, but the more that can be obtained the better.

The logs obtained through the Control Center contain most logs needed including those that can be exported from the Event Viewer.  If you can follow these steps there is no need to go any further in this document.

To get Control Center logs,
  1. Open Control Center
  2. Select System
  3. Choose Save information to file.  The information will be saved to the desktop with a time and date stamped zip file.
If you were unable to obtain those logs continue on with this document otherwise stop here and send the file off to a technician.
