Where do I find an API Key for ElevenLabs?
In order to use ElevenLabs voice integration with TD Snap and TD Talk an API key will be needed to sign in to view, and use the voices in TD Snap or TD Talk. Below will outline where to find if you already have one, or how to create one. An active subscription is required with Tokens on the account from ElevenLabs.
- Visit elevenlabs.io. Make sure you’re logged in with your ElevenLabs account.
- View the navigational menu on the left side of the website.
- Near the bottom, click on the Developers option.
- On the Developers page, click on the Create an API Key quick link. On the next page, click on the Create Key button.
- A panel will pop up with many different options. You will need to enable access to Text to Speech. You will also need to set Voices and User to Read. Leave all other options as their default values.
- Click Create Key to finalize your selections. A popup will appear with a code — this is your API key. Copy it to your clipboard using the provided button.
